Welcome to your webmail server. The purpose of
this email server is to provide you with easy access to your
accounts. This email system, webmail, does not have to use an email
client (such as Outlook) to download email onto your computer. Instead,
the email stays on the system server and you view it by logging into
your account via your web page. This means that you can
access your email from any computer,
whenever you are.
When you log onto your webmail account
for the first time, please click the "change password" link
to set your own password. Please
see Step #2 located below.
Your domain email account can also be set
up to forward your email to an existing email account. For example,
your mail at sample@yourdomain.com can be forwarded to your sample@gmail.com
account. To do this, log into your webmail account following this guide
and when you get to this screen, click on the "forwarding
options " link.

|
To access your webmail, you will need to know your email address and
password. These have been emailed to
you by Trinity Web Designs. If you need a replacement password,
please contact us.
While connected to the Internet, open your browser window and type
your domain name followed by "/webmail" into the address bar. Press
"enter" or click "go".
For example: www.mydomainname.com/webmail or www.mydomainname.org/webmail
A dialog box will pop up asking you for your user name and password
(fig 1). Type your user name and password into the dialog box and
click OK. Your user name is your complete
email address, for example: youremail@yourdomain.com

After the dialog box disappears, you will be
taken to the Web Mail screen (fig 2). At this screen you can reset
your password, and choose from three different email services (I
recommend RoundCube). Click on the icon of your choice
to open your email box.

After clicking on RoundCube your inbox will pop up (fig 3).
This inbox is used just like your regular email client. New messages
are in bold, click on a message to open it, compose mail by clicking
on the "compose/write" link, place
unwanted email in the trash folder, etc. You can compose emails,
save addresses...everything you normally do with email.
